Green Tip #8: Make silicone your new best friend! Many things that are made out of single use plastic are also now made out of reusable silicone. For example, these sealable silicone bags can be used like any sealable plastic bag. Simply rinse them out after use and reuse them forever. And the silicone disks fit on a multitude of bowls or other containers. You could throw these in the dishwasher.
