When you go about your shopping and wrapping for Christmas, consider the 3 "R's" - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
REDUCE - Buying sustainable products reduces our dependance on plastic and other chemicals that are harmful to the planet. Good news! St Andrew has partnered with TruEarth which provides dozens of sustainable products. St Andrew gets 20% of all purchases made using this link: https://fundraising.tru.earth/standrewchurch. We will be using these funds to install a prayer/meditation/pollinator garden on the church grounds. TruEarth's dryer balls, or pop up sponges or dish towels make great gifts.
REUSE - Wrap your presents in reusable products we all have - paper bags and calendars! Channel your inner Piccasso and paint your own wrapping paper - it's fun for the whole family. Or use the spectacular photos on calendars for a one-of-a-kind wrapping. And finally, save ribbon - it can be used year after year.
RECYCLE - If you are purchasing wrapping paper or Christmas cards, skip the ones with glitter or foil which are not recyclable.
